What topics should I teach in a middle school biotechnology course?
I've taught physical science in the middle school for two years but now I'm changing subjects and teaching biotechnology. I have a biology background, but I'm not quite sure how I should organize my cirriculum. Any suggestions?
ouch! Buddy, you know nothing about me and now you're saying I'm unqualified? Clearly, you misunderstood what I was asking. I want to know the order of topics (i.e. DNA structure, stem cells, GM foods) that would make the most sence for a 7th grader. Thank you very much, Mr. Knowitall :-D
Answer: I think if you are asking the world how to teach your class, you might not be suitable for the job position. Maybe you should either stick with what you DO know, or get out of the field completely. It is not fair for your students to get taught by a teacher who doesnt really know what shes talking about. You can not really get a BS degree in BS, you know what I mean? You might be a really nice and caring teacher, but you just are not suitable for the position if you have to ask other people how to do your job. Have a nice day! Jesus Loves You!
